June 11-12, 2011

If you have a pond in the Baton Rouge area within an hour's drive of The I-10/I-12 split. We'd like to have you on the Tour.

To participate in the 12th Annual Tour of Ponds,

  • Please email paul@br-pond-tour.org. Deadline May,28  2011 at noon.
  • We provide yard signs to place in your yard during the pond tour.
  • Pond Tour Participants are invited to a Pre-Tour party hosted by Charbel and Ruth Harb at Harb's Oasis to be held Friday evening June 10th at Harb's Oasis. Strictly casual.

Your email should state,
  1. "I hereby grant permission for my pond to be viewed by the public for the 12th Annual Tour of Ponds. I agree to hold harmless all sponsors, organizers, volunteers and staff for any damage or inconvenience, which may arise from my participation in the tour. I grant permission to use the information  provided in Tour of Ponds related publications and websites."

  2. Your full name, address, and email.

  3. Please include a 50-100 word description of your pond and landscaping  (see example). Please attach photos.

Area Showcase

To increase the number of visitors to your pond. We are showcasing ponds in different areas of Baton Rouge at a particular time. We would greatly appreciate your participation on the day that your area is being showcased. This is the day that you should have most of your visitors. You are, of course, encouraged to be open for both days tour.
